Do you and your family enjoy visiting museums? I do. I love taking my children because education is an important factor in our family. Museums feature many educational relics and facts children benefit from. Now there is a new app that can make this learning process even more enjoyable. It is called History Hero. It engages kids to entice their interest in learning about history. I was lucky enough to be chosen to review this cool app.
Logging into the app I got to choose my city. I got to choose between Chicago, London, Minneapolis, New York, Paris, Rome, and Washington DC. I chose Washington DC because I have been there before and I know there is lots of US history there. The app itself is free! Each mission is priced at $4.99 but your child does learn a lot in that mission so I think it is well worth the price. History Hero makes history a sight seeing experience for kids and adults. After you choose your destination, museum, and the hero you want to use the fun begins. You choose the difficulty level then the app gives you a mission. You or your child is asked many questions about history as you look for artifacts and if you answer correctly you get points. When you answer correctly your hero does a dance. You or your child has the option of taking pictures throughout the museum as well. It is a new fun way to learn history. Kids are going to love it.
